Beyond presents a forest that feels separate from the surrounding world. Two figures are present, integrated into the same visual system as the vegetation around them — the way camouflage works not by hiding but by belonging. The vegetation repeats and branches in fractal patterns, and the figures follow the same logic. Something at the centre looks back.

The image shifts between clarity and dissolution. Washi paper holds the surface in quiet, continuous movement. The freely hanging fringes dissolve the edge of the work into the surrounding space.
